Helpful Uses for Sticky Notes

Are you the type of person that thinks everyone knows more than you?  Of course they know something you don’t know.  You also possess knowledge that they don’t have.  That is why we all can help each other.  Whenever I find something helpful that makes my life just a little bit easier, I try to share.

Here are a couple of tools that I use that make life just a bit easier…

Virtual Sticky Notes 

If you have sticky notes lying around with important information, you risk losing them or accidentally tossing.  Did you know your computer has them as an app? Search for “Sticky Notes” on your computer.

I find it helpful for storing information that I need often, but don’t want more visual and physical clutter.  These can be visual on your desktop and can be minimized and available at any time.  You can change their color.  You can store images in them. You can store links also, but you must choose “Enable Insights” in the settings for that feature.

Sticky Notes in Google Drawings  

If you need help organizing a workflow or process, using Sticky Notes can help.  Sticky notes are available in the shape menu.  You can change the colors of your notes and move them around, add text and change their size.  The possibilities are endless.  You could share that document with your team members for brainstorming.  It is a great organizational tool.  You can make the background look like a bulletin board as is show in the picture.
