I have 13 hensðand in the summer they will typically lay one eggð¥per day. There are a variety of reasons hens don’t lay, and it’s important to keep an eye on production to catch potential health problems before they get too serious.
That gave me a great ideað¡for a Salesforce project. At first I intended to keep it really simple, but after my discovery meeting with my client (myself), the buildout was much more complicated that I first imagined. But that was half of the fun!
Some of my favorite parts of this project were:
â¡Mapping out the requirements
â¡Customizing the theme to give it a “Farm Feel”
â¡Renaming Objects, Tabs, and Labels to reflect the chicken theme
â¡Mastering Data Loader for importing Opportunities (eggs laid)
â¡Creating a robust set of reports and a meaningful dashboard
I’m looking forward to more projects as I continue to build new skills in the Salesforce ecosystem!
