Daily Study Structure for ADHD brains- How I passed the Admin Exam on the first try.
Dear ADHD #ohana members. Last week, I released the first part of a training series about “How I passed the Salesforce Admin Exam on the First Try with ADHD.” If you are studying and struggling with organizing materials and learning with current study structures, this series is for you.
Today, in the 2nd video, you’ll learn about the 3 stages of learning, and how to use your brainpower to most effectively learn.
The feedback from all of you warms my heart. When I hear about how you are learning more effectively because you are applying the concepts in the training, my heart leaps for joy! Thank you for sharing your successes.
Last week I shared with you Video 1. The link to the 2nd video is here, and you can follow the yellow brick Youtube Screen Card Road to the third
Part 1: How I passed my Salesforce Admin Exam on the First Try with ADHD
Part 2: How to Study for the Admin Exam- Daily Study Structure for ADHD brains
Part 3: Long-Term Study structure- what tools I used and how I organized my study.
Part 2 Summary (more details in the video!)
Learning stage: Imagine you are in math class. The teacher shares a concept, and you can understand how they get the answer but cannot yet do it yourself.
You might experience: a need for frequent breaks, reliance on heavy focus muscles and concentration, confusion, info overload, new vocab terms, need to orient yourself frequently.
Application stage: You are familiar with the concepts but can’t re-create it. Application stage is all about flexing your muscles and practice DOING instead of simply passive learning.
You might experience sparks of insight, an influx of questions and a desire to build awesome apps.
Testing Stage: You learned and built, now you have to put it to the test. Critical thinking and reading between the lines is key here.
